ARPA GRANT AVAILABLE TO AID LINCOLN COUNTY RESIDENTS WITH SAFE WELL WATER

LINCOLN COUNTY – The Lincoln County Health Department is reporting Homeowners and business owners making less than $100,000 a year may be eligible for up to $16,000 to provide safe drinking water. Additional criteria for eligibility include testing positive for bacteria in their water or having nitrated, arsenic or PFAS levels exceeding the maximum contaminant level. The American Rescue Plan Act Well Compensation and Well Abandonment Grant programs provide more support to private well owners and increase access to clean drinking water. VEHICLE LEFT IN DITCH IN TOWN OF BRADLEY LEADS TO ARREST FOR OWI

TOWN OF BRADLEY – On Friday, February 21 Lincoln County Sheriff Deputies were sent to the area of CTH E and STH 86 in the Town of Bradley for the report of a vehicle in the ditch. They arrived at the scene to find the vehicle was unoccupied. The deputy was able to trace the driver down to his home and she questioned him about the vehicle.
