PUBLIC DISTURBANCE IN MERRILL ENDS IN PROBATION VIOLATION, BAIL JUMPING CHARGES

MERRILL – On Tuesday February 25, Merrill Police Officers responded to a report of a vehicle parked at a closed business playing loud music. Upon arriving the officers made contact with two parties in the vehicle who had been drinking. An arrest was made for the female party for felony bail jumping and a probation violation. The other party, a male resident is being referred for charges of misdemeanor bail jumping.

LINCOLN COUNTY – Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 32 traffic stops, 12 security checks, and two calls involving cars hitting deer. There was one report of unsafe driving. On Thursday February 27th, a deputy was dispatched to the area of USH 51 and USH 8 for the report of a car hitting a deer, injuring the driver.
