LINCOLN COUNTY – On Monday April 14, a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy on patrol was approached by a highway worker near MM225 of USH 51 in the Town of Bradley. The worker expressed concerns about traffic not slowing down in the work zone. With summer coming soon, work zones will continue to become more prevalent across central WI. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is tomorrow, April 26. Aspirus Health encourages residents to participate in this nationwide DEA led initiative designed to provide a safe, responsible mode for disposing of unused, unwanted, or expired meds. Proper disposal helps prevent drug misuse and environmental contamination. Throwing medications in the trash risks exposure to children, pets or even wildlife. Flushing them down the toilet contaminates our water supply.
