LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES WELCOME NEW TEAM MEMBERS

MERRILL – The Merrill Police Department and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office have recently welcomed new Law Enforcement officers to their respective teams. The Police Department announced the onboarding of Officers Emily Treglowne, a recent graduate of MidState Technical College, and Benjamin Smith, a graduate of Northcentral Tech. LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE REPORT WEEK ENDING JUNE 15

Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 30 traffic stops and 17 security checks. There were seven calls involving cars hitting deer. On Thursday, deputies were dispatched to the scene of a single vehicle crash with injuries in the area of STH 64 and Monteray Dr. The vehicle involved had rolled over and the 48-yr-old female driver from Merrill was ejected and found lying in the ditch.
