HUNTERS URGED TO JUMP ON LATE SEASON OPPORTUNITIES

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is encouraging Deer hunters to take advantage of late season opportunities. The late muzzleloader season runs until Wednesday, the statewide antlerless-only hunt takes place December 11th through the 14th and there’s an antlerless-only holiday hunt from December 24th until January 1st. The DNR says hunters can use any unfilled antlerless harvest authorizations during any of those hunts, but they must be used in certain zones. LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT; DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT IN TOWN OF BRADLEY

Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 32 traffic stops and 33 security checks. There were 10 calls involving cars hitting deer.   On Thursday (12/4) the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a domestic disturbance in the City of Tomahawk by the Tomahawk Police Department. TPD reported that the domestic incident actually occurred at a home on Fairway Drive in the Town of Bradley. The victim told officers her boyfriend put his hands on her and kicked her out.
