Two Merrill men are facing charges following a reported disturbance Sunday in the Town of Scott. Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Joe Snow Road after a man reported that Cayson Kendall threatened him with a knife and pointed it at him. Deputies say the reporting party provided video of the incident, and also reported Kendall threatened to shoot him. Kendall was arrested on charges of domestic disorderly conduct and recklessly endangering safety. A second man, Joshua Kendall, was arrested for bail jumping after allegedly violating a court order…

The Merrill Fire Department responded to 56 calls last week, bringing the total for 2026 to 1,431 calls. There were 52 calls requiring EMS Services. On Tuesday, the Department responded to a call regarding a motor vehicle accident involving entrapment, where US Highway 8 and County Road A intersect just south of Heafford Junction.

ATV RIDER INJURED IN CRASH IN TOWN OF HARRISON

A weekend ATV crash in the Town of Harrison sent one person to the hospital. Lincoln County deputies were called Saturday to the trail shelter at County Highway B and Ski Hill Road, where a group of riders had brought an injured ATV operator to meet an ambulance. Investigators say several ATVs had been traveling together when two failed to arrive at a planned meeting point. The group went back to look for them and found one of the ATVs had crashed and rolled over. The injured rider was taken…
