LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT WEEK ENDING AUGUST 17
Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 71 traffic stops and 25 security checks. There were four calls involving cars hitting deer, and there was one call where a car struck a bear.
Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in progress in the Town of King on Thursday. A 51-yr-old woman from Tomahawk had reported the incident. Deputies arrived to find she and a 27-yr-old man, also from Tomahawk were arguing about a personal matter when she punched him in the face. The man shared that he had not given her permission to strike him, and he was in pain. The woman was arrested, taken to the Lincoln County Jail and booked for domestic battery.
