TWO VEHICLE CRASH THURSDAY RESULTS IN ROLLOVER, LIFELINK III MEDEVAC TRANSPORT

TOWN OF BRADLEY – The Lincoln County 911 Center received a report of a two car crash with injuries on Thursday.

The accident occurred at CTH S on USH 51 in the Town of Bradley. A 19-yr-old male driver from Irma was attempting to merge his vehicle onto USH 51 N/B from the exit 225 on ramp when he came in contact with a N/B vehicle being operated by a 44-yr-old Kaukana, WI woman. The man then lost control of his vehicle and entered the ditch, sending the car into a roll before coming to rest against a group of trees.

Tomahawk FD extricated the man from his vehicle, and he was transported by Lifelink III helicopter to Aspirus Wausau Hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were serious in nature.

Assistance was provided to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office by Tomahawk FD, Tomahawk and Merrill Ambulance, Lifelink III, and the Lincoln County Highway Dept. USH 51 was closed between exits 208 and 234 for three hours while cleanup from the crash was completed.
