Bluejay Girls Defeat Crandon 14-0 at Home

In a game heard on WJMT and wjmtfm.com as seen on WJMT-TV on YouTube, the Post 46 Bluejay girls’ softball squad shut out Crandon 14-0 in a five inning contest last night.  AmericInn Co-player of the Game Emmie Steinagle (pictured) pitched a complete game for Merrill, giving up only one hit and three walks while striking out ten Cardinals.  The offense was paced by AmericInn Co-Player of the Game first baseman Miley Krueger (also pictured) went 2-2 with a walk while driving in two runs for the Jays.

Both teams have the weekend off, with action resuming for the boys with a double-header Tuesday at Athletic Park against Wisconsin Rapids and Wednesday for the girls against Tomahawk at the MARC.  Tuesday night’s action can be heard on WJMT and wjmtfm.com starting with the Nicolet Bank pre-game show at 4:45 and first pitch at 5:00 on air and on WJMT-TV on YouTube, and Wednesday’s action at 6:45 and 7:00 respectively on the same outlets.
