Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 28 traffic stops and 45 security checks. There were eleven calls involving cars hitting deer.   On Tuesday the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a car crash with injuries on State Highway 64 near Monterey Drive in the Town of Pine River. Lincoln County Sheriffs Department Report Week Ending October 6

LINCOLN COUNTY – Last week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 40 traffic stops and 25 security checks. There were nine calls involving cars hitting deer, and one call of hitting a bear. There were nine calls for unsafe driving. On Tuesday Oct 1, a deputy stopped a vehicle on Hwy 51 near the 209 MM for a speeding. During the stop a Marathon County Sheriff’s K9 was called to assist.
