Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 39 traffic stops and 30 security checks. There were six calls involving cars hitting deer, and one call regarding a car hitting an unknown animal. Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 35 traffic stops, 23 security checks, twelve calls involving cars hitting deer and one where a car hit a bear. The Annual Fall Ride took place during the week, and the County saw a number of motorcycle incidents. On Friday deputies were dispatched to CTH S in the Town of Skanawan for a single motorcycle crash with injuries. As deputies arrived they identified the driver, a 52-yr-old Stevens Point man.
