MERRILL FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT WEEK ENDING JULY 27

MERRILL – The Merrill Fire Department responded to 49 calls last week, bringing the total for 2025 to 1,313. There were 39 EMS calls. There was one motor vehicle accident with injuries on Pikes Peak Rd in the Town of Pine River on Friday. An emergency water rescue was attempted on Sunday after an 11-yr-old child fell from a boat on Lake Alexander and did not surface. Sonar was used to locate the body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

MERRILL – The Merrill Fire Department responded to 34 calls last week, bringing the total for 2025 to 1,263. There were 28 EMS calls. There was one motor vehicle accident with injuries on Wurl Rd in the Town of Bradley on Thursday. Following the storm that passed through the area over the weekend, there was one windstorm assessment at Council Grounds and a call for a downed power line on Eugene St in the City of Merrill on Saturday.

MERRILL – The Merrill Fire Department responded to 41 calls last week, bringing the total for 2025 to 1,231. There were 36 EMS calls. There was one cooking fire that was confined to the container on Blue Haven Ln in the Town of Scott on Thursday, and there were two alarm system activations due to malfunction. There was one motor vehicle accident with injuries on Grand Ave in the City of Merrill on Friday.

MERRILL – The Merrill Fire Department responded to 31 calls last week, bringing the total for 2025 to 1,083. There were 26 EMS calls. There was one incident involving carbon monoxide, one unintentional smoke detector activation, and one Community Paramedicine Program visit. On Saturday EMS crews responded to a request for mutual aid on County Rd JJ in the Town of Merrill`.
