Oneida County Closes Trails as Warmer Weather Moves In
Snowfall from last week’s blizzard didn’t stick around too long given the welcome warmer conditions, and neither did the extended snowmobiling season. The Oneida County snowmobile trail system officially closed for the season at 8:00 a.m. yesterday, according to the County Forestry Department. Riders enjoyed an additional week on the trails thanks to record-setting snowfall, however the increase in temps has resulted in the need to close the trail for the season.
