LINCOLN COUNTY – The winners of the Lincoln County 150th Anniversary History Hunt have been announced. There were 41 History Hunt card entries, and three winners were drawn from the group. Winners of $25 in Chamber Bucks are Adler Budzynski for the Tomahawk Chamber, and Geralyn Grell for Merrill. The Grand Prize Winner of a One Night Stay at Chula Vista sponsored by Sunrise Broadcasting is Laurie Wegner.

MERRILL – The Merrill Fire Department responded to 45 calls last week, bringing the total for 2024 to 2,017 calls. There was one call on Saturday November 15 for a carbon monoxide detector activation with no CO present on Jackson St in the City of Merrill. There were 40 calls requesting EMS services. A call was received Wednesday November 13th regarding a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Scott Rd in the Town of Scott.
