TOWN OF BRADLEY – On Wednesday September 17, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Cottage Rd in the Town of Bradley regarding a domestic disturbance. The reporting party stated that a 46-yr-old man from Tomahawk had been arguing with his oldest daughter at a local establishment, then returned to his home where he continued to argue with the rest of his family. MERRILL POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT WEEK ENDING SEPTEMBER 21

MERRILL – During the week ending September 21, the Merrill Police Department responded to 21 incidents, while officers conducted approximately 30 traffic stops and 85 security checks. There were five reports of Disorderly Conduct, one of those with a motor vehicle. There were five reports of possession of an illegal or unauthorized substance – two of those involving minors, four reports of theft, and four reports of bail jumping and probation violation. Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 20 traffic stops, 28 security checks, and 8 calls involving cars hitting deer. MERRILL – On Tuesday, Antigo Fire Chief Corey Smith traveled to Merrill to settle a friendly wager with Merrill Fire Chief Josh Klug. LINCOLN COUNTY FOOD PANTRIES TO RECEIVE BEEF DONATION FROM COUNTY FUNERAL HOMES

Local food pantries recently received a very generous donation from two Lincoln County funeral homes. Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral and Cremation and Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral and Cremation Services have shared they’ll donate a locally raised steer to the Tomahawk and Merrill food pantries. The steer was purchased during the animal market sale at the 2025 Lincoln County Fair. Representatives from the funeral homes said the donations will provide hundreds of pounds of locally processed ground beef and roasts, which staff of both funeral homes will deliver directly to the food pantries.
