SEASONAL WEIGHT LIMITS SUSPENDED FOR LINCOLN COUNTY HIGHWAYS

Lincoln County Highway Commissioner Jason Lemmer has a released a statement advising the public that seasonal weight limits for all Lincoln County Highways will be suspended effective 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30th. The suspension is for the county system only, however it does not apply to the gravel portion of County Highway E. Town, village or state highway seasonal weight limits may still be in effect. Residents are encouraged to check with appropriate local authorities for those roads.

MERRILL POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT: DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT INVOLVING FIREWORKS

The Merrill Police Department responded to ten incidents during the week ending April 19th. Officers conducted approximately 41 traffic stops and 53 security checks. On Sunday, officers responded to a local apartment to confront a male party regarding a noise complaint, and reports of the male party sending texts threats to a female party in a different apartment.
