LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT: EXPIRED REGISTRATION STOP ENDS WITH OWI ARREST
Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 34 traffic stops and 32 security checks. There were 3 calls involving cars hitting deer.
On Wednesday, a traffic stop completed by an on-duty deputy on East River and North 4th Streets in Tomahawk for a vehicle with expired registration led to a first offense OWI arrest. The deputy noticed signs of impairment when speaking with the driver, Kelly Menore of Milwaukee. Menore agreed to sobriety testing, which led to the OWI arrest.
