LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFFS REPORT WEEK ENDING SEPTEMBER 21
Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 20 traffic stops, 28 security checks, and 8 calls involving cars hitting deer.
On Friday deputies were dispatched to the 4500 block of STH 17 in the Town of Schley for a one car crash with injuries. The 17-yr-old male driver from Merrill explained to deputies that while traveling northbound on STH 17 he believed he hit a wet spot, then felt the car begin to float and lost control of the vehicle. After crossing the center line his car entered the ditch on S/B side of the road, continuing until it struck a tree. He was transported to Aspirus Merrill Hospital by ambulance for treatment of a leg injury.
