TIFFANY JOINS FIELD OF CANDIDATES IN WISCONSIN GOVERNORS RACE
In a move long expected by many, Wisconsin 7th District Congressman Tom Tiffany has officially announced his bid to become Wisconsin’s next Governor.
Tiffany shared the news on a Milwaukee radio station on Tuesday, followed by a statement and campaign video. He said the race is both a challenge and an opportunity, stating he believes he’s the Republican candidate with the best chance to win following two terms of Democratic Governor Tony Evers. Tiffany has represented northern Wisconsin in 2020 after serving in the state Assembly, state Senate, and the powerful Joint Finance Committee. He joins Republicans Josh Schoeman, a Washington County Executive, and Milwaukee area businessman Bill Berrian in the race.
Several Democrats are also running, with partisan primaries set for August of 2026.
