SUMMER HEAT TURNS ATTENTION TO OPPORTUNITIES FOR RELIEF FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS
With temperatures forecast in the mid to high 80’s and low 90’s for the majority of this week with humid conditions, the Lincoln County Health Department is pointing residents toward their list of cooling centers. These centers welcome members of the public who are seeking relief from the heat and humidity during business hours.
A total of 14 Cooling Centers are available across Lincoln County: eight in Merrill, five in Tomahawk, and one in Gleason. The full list of Cooling Centers including addresses and hours of business is attached. .
