Assembly Rep. Swearingen Seeks Another Term
Ahead of November’s mid-term election, Repulican State Representative of Wisconsin’s 34th District Rob Swearingen announced Wednesday that he is running for an eighth two-year term in the Wisconsin State Assembly.
The Northwoods lawmaker highlighted his record of supporting economic growth for the District, as well as helping to prioritize the needs of the region, which includes most of Vilas and Oneida Counties. Swearingen mentioned his work with PFA’s, broadband access, and strengthening tourism, saying the opportunity given to him thus far to represent the 34th district has been an honor.
Representative Swearingen reminded voters, “While other districts have seen significant changes, our district has remained consistent. I look forward to earning the opportunity to continue serving the people of northern Wisconsin. I’m grateful for the continued support I’ve received from people across the district as I seek another term.”
