Bluejay Boys Finish Their Season Losing Two in the Regional Playoffs

Bluejays Fall to Wausau 11-1 in Legion Baseball

In a game heard right here on WJMT and wjmtfm.com, the Post 46 American Legion boys’ baseball team saw its record fall to 2-11 with an 11-1 mercy-rule shortened loss to the Wausau Post 10 Bulldogs.  The Bluejays saw AmericInn Player of the Game Brody Klebenow (pictured) drive in the Bluejays sole run with the second of his two triples in the contest.  The Bulldogs score twice in the first and single runs in the third and fourth innings before scoring seven runs in the bottom of the fifth.  Two…

Bluejay Boys Drop Double-Header at Home to Rangers 

In a pair of games heard right here on WJMT and wjmtfm.com, the Merrill Post 46 baseball team saw their record drop to 2-10 as they lost both halves of a double-header to the Wisconsin Rapids Rangers 12-5 and 9-4.  The two teams face off again in Wisconsin Rapids Thursday with the Nicollet Bank pre-game show beginning at 6:45 and first pitch at 7:00. Bluejay Boys Drop Double-Header to Plover 

In a pair of games heard right here on WJMT and wjmtfm.com, a depleted Merrill Bluejays Post 46 squad dropped a pair of conference baseball games to Plover, losing the first game 13-0 in 4 1/2 innings and the nightcap after a short rain delay 12-1 also in 4 1/2 innings.  The losses saw the Bluejays record fall to 2-8, while the Black Sox of Plover saw their record increase to 8-6.
