MERRILL – During the week ending November 30, the Merrill Police Department responded to nine incidents, while officers conducted approximately 34 traffic stops and 54 security checks. On Friday shortly after 3am Officers followed up on a report of a vehicle hitting a building. When Officers tried to converse with the female driver, she became belligerent and then attacked the Officers. MERRILL – The Merrill Police Department responded to 13 incidents last week. Officers conducted approximately 50 traffic stops and 124 security checks. There were two instances of theft, three reports of disorderly conduct, four reports of probation violations and bail jumping, a report of a hit and run, and one instance of property damage. During a traffic stop for a registration violation on Wednesday, citations were issued for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia.
