MERRILL FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT: Extraction Equipment Used in Highway Crash Response
The Merrill Fire Department responded to 49 calls last week, bringing the total for 2026 to 1,606 calls. There were 44 calls requiring EMS Services.
On Friday, the Department responded to a motor vehicle collision near the 216 mile marker of US Highway 51 that required the use of extraction equipment for an individual who was trapped in the vehicle.
