The Merrill Fire Department responded to 54 calls last week, bringing the total for 2026 to 903 calls. There were 47 EMS calls. The Department provided mutual aid for a building fire on Everest Avenue in Brokaw on Monday. There was a report of a fuel spill on West Main Street in the City of Merrill on Saturday.
