67-Year-Old Prentice Man Dies in Worcester Lake Drowning Saturday

The Price County Sheriff’s Office has released information regarding a drowning on Worcester Lake in the Township of Hackett on Saturday.

A report was received at 4:30 PM stating a 67-year-old Prentice man had gone missing and was believed to be on the lake. Following a search of the lake conducted by multiple agencies, the body of the man was located, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Those agencies assisting the Price County Sheriff’s Office during the search operation included the Prentice Fire Department, Prentice EMS, Pike Lake Fire Department, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Price County Coroner’s Office, along with neighboring citizens.
